Some call it fate. Some call it destiny. Others call it chance. Regardless of what you call it, there's no doubt that Crushing Gray exists as a result of it. After a random encounter at a music convention in Los Angeles, the foundation was laid for what was yet to come.

Crushing Gray combines the stellar vocals of Logan Rayne Pepper with the guitar chops of Big Blue Barry to form a powerhouse rock sound that critics have said rivals such bands as Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Hinder and Daughtry. The two-man writing team are currently in the studio working on their debut album which is set to release in the summer/fall of 2010.

Logan Rayne Pepper

Logan Rayne Pepper is an accomplished rock singer-songwriter originally from Newfoundland, Canada. A life-long musician turned songwriter/engineer, exposure as a vocalist in the American Idol 2008 Songwriting Contest Top 10 put Logan in demand for his vocal production chops. In addition to his stellar work on modern and heavy rock vocals, he has been approached for work on material ranging from alternative to hip hop to country. Critics say “his writing is amazing, with killer hooks,” "such a strong singing voice really gives the tracks character” and “great emotion!” Industry insiders wonder whether he already has a major label record deal, while others say “it’s just a matter of time before he is discovered.”

Big Blue Barry

Big Blue Barry is an accomplished songwriter/composer originally from London, Kentucky. After years of playing in bands that had some regional success, Barry turned his attention to writing and composing music for film and TV. Within a year he had acquired multiple licensing deals for dozens of his songs. Soon after that he began receiving placements on MTV and The Dr. Oz Show, for which he is a regular composer. In addition he has also worked on the score of two independent films.
