Last night I tweeted that I was going to be re-mixing some tracks for Crushing Gray with the hopes to pitch them to a major music library. I ended up staying up later than I wanted to, which for me means it was pretty late as I'm your stereotypical musician when it comes to being a night owl, but it was necessary.
This opportunity came about as a result of being a part of ReverbNation. We were extended an invitation to submit our music for their review. This turned out to be the quickest turnaround time I've ever had on a song pitch. Less than 8 hours after submitting them, I got an email response from the company stating that they wanted our tracks!
The library we're signing with is APM, one of the largest, if not THE largest music library in the world. Some of their clients include ESPN, MTV, Fox, Universal, Electronic Arts and more.
What a great way to start the holiday weekend!
